【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesonlyalaboratorytestfordeterminingtherelativehardsurfacefloor-cleaningabilityofhousehold/commercialvacuumcleanerswhentestedunderspecifiedtestconditions.Thistestmethodisapplicabletohousehold/commercialtypesofupright,canister,combination,andstickvacuumcleanersthatuseadryprimarydirtreceptacleandareintendedforcleaninghardsurfacefloorsasaprimaryorsecondaryfunction.Thistestmethodappliesonlytotheremovalofdrydebrisfromhardsurfacefloors,nottheremovalofembeddeddirtfromcarpet.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
